FAQs
There are three ways your NDIS plan can be managed:
1) An agency-managed participant has an agency that manages their funding and pays invoices. We can send the agency a service agreement to sign and process directly through the NDIS portal.
2) A plan-managed NDIS participant has a plan manager to help them manage their funding and pay invoices. We can send an invoice directly to your plan manager.
3) A self-managed NDIS participant or carer manages their own funding. You or your nominee can purchase a product using your own funds, then submit your receipt to claim back from the NDIS. As soon as you have paid for your headphones, you can claim your reimbursement with the NDIS.
If you are aged between 7 and 65 years old, an Australian citizen and need support for a significant or permanent disability, you may be eligible for NDIS funding.
For more information talk to your GP or visit the NDIS Information Portal.
There are three main budget categories or ‘support budgets’ in an NDIS Plan. Whether you receive funding in some, or all of these, depends on your individual needs.
The categories are:
ㅤ▪ㅤCore supports
ㅤ▪ㅤCapital supports
ㅤ▪ㅤCapacity Building supports
Audeara products are registered under Consumables (Core Supports Budget) and Assistive Technology (Capital Supports Budget) as low risk, low cost assistive technology (under $1500).
