NDIS Assistive Technology Purchases

Audeara is a Registered NDIS Provider (provider number: 4050031051). If you are an NDIS participant, you should be able to use your funding to purchase Audeara Headphones. We are currently registered under assistive technology as hearing equipment and assistive products for personal care and safety.

You’re eligible to access the National Disability Insurance Scheme.

As a plan manager, you can either request an invoice from us and submit it to the NDIS or you can purchase our products directly for your participants and submit the tax invoice to the NDIS to be reimbursed later.

Self managed

You manage your own NDIS funding.

You have a Plan Manager who is funded in your plan.

Agency/NDIA Managed

The NDIA pays your providers on your behalf.

I'm NDIA managed

A self-managed NDIS participant or carer manages their own funding. You or your nominee have two options:

  1. Purchase a product using your own funds, then submit your receipt to claim back from the NDIS
  2. Request an invoice and submit to the NDIS. Once you receive the funds from NDIS, pay the invoice and we’ll process your order

A plan managed participant has a plan manager to help them manage their funding. You can request us to send an invoice directly to your plan manager. 

If you are an NDIS participant who is agency managed, you can contact us with your information and the products you’re interested in purchasing. We’ll send you a service agreement to sign and process through the NDIS portal.
